All baseball/softball operations suspended

Dear HTV Little League Families

Under guidance provided by Little League International, District 34, of which Huntington Tri-Village Little League is a part, has suspended all baseball/softball operations through April 6th for all of its leagues. This includes all gatherings for games, practices, meetings, trainings, etc.

While the HTV season has not yet begun, this will delay pre-season activities and the start of the season, at least for a short time.

During this time period, HTV and District 34, under the guidance of, and in consultation with local, state, and national health authorities as well as Little League International, will continue to assess the situation and make further adjustments if necessary.

Little League International operates more than 6,500 programs in more than 84 countries, and believes in exercising an abundance of caution and so in the implementation of a temporary suspension of league activities.

As the situation continues to develop, we will do our best to continue to keep our players, volunteers, and families informed in a timely manner.
