Season Reminders

As some divisions finish up a month of playing, we want to thank our families for their cooperation that has allowed the children to play.

Your continued cooperation will allow us to remain playing and meet the requirements we are mandated to abide by.

Spectator areas are in general down the sidelines past first and third base, and along the outfield fence. (PW2 does not have room down the baselines, and so the spectator area is against the fence of Memorial field.) We need to keep the areas between first and third base and behind home plate open and traversable. A map is attached. The area between home plate and third base on Heid should be left open, and social distancing and facial covering requirements are in place in all areas.

We ask that you not call players involved in a game over to your seats and avoid interacting with them during games. This distracts players from the game, and put an additional burden on the volunteers in keeping track of their players while coaching the game. Players and spectators should remain distanced during the games for the protection of everyone present.

Unfortunately many children around the country have not been able to play baseball and softball this year. With your assistance, we we are glad to be able to offer this opportunity, and will work together for a successful season.
